Community Agriculture Marketing & Merchandise
Poster Concept
Challenge: To draw new customers to the Austin Community College student-run farmstand to buy fresh vegetables, educate them about the farm’s role in the community, and invite them to volunteer and learn at the farm.
Solution: An inclusive tagline, “grow with us”, combined with an illustration that connects the earth, vegetables, and a community of people, finished off with a vibrant gradient to draw visitors in.
This project was part of a practicum at Austin Community College. I came up with the concept and initial sketches, and a team of us took turns art directing, designing, and incorporating feedback. (Core team: Pia Harden, Kodylynn Crosoriol, Elizabeth Crawford.)
Garden Logo, Merch, and Signs
For the Patterson Park Community Garden, I’ve designed a logo, t-shirt (used for fundraising), stickers (for name recognition at events, and to encourage donations), and social media posts (for fundraising and event promotion).
